My intentions are to provide a source for people looking for great dining experiences in and around Orange County at all price points and culinary tastes. I only call the postings here "reviews" for lack of a better term because I am, by no means, claiming to be an expert or come across as know more than anyone else. I am well aware that what I like might not be what you like and my palette might be very different. Therefore, my reviews will focus mainly on the overall dining experience as a whole. I will look closely at the food, but I am not going to make references to things like how a "classic" risotto should taste or claiming to know how to properly make a good souffle. I do have over 15 years experience in restaurants and I have some knowledge of culinary arts, but I am just a "regular guy" and I love to go out to eat and try new restaurants.
So, my criteria will not be based on a specific set of standards. I will write about what I liked and what I didn't like and try to give a synopsis of the overall experience. Anything I write will be just my opinion, but I will do my best to express those opinions in the best possible way to let you make your own conlusions as to whether or not you would like to dine there. The score will be from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best and will express my overall level of satisfaction. I reserve the right to change the scoring system as the need arises.
